When I first made a double heart years ago, I thought about pregnancy. As a baby grows within the mother, so does the love for that child. And with pregnancy and infant loss, even if you lose that child, your love for them does not end. Some think about a significant other wrapping their arms and love around them, holding them close. It could also represent someone who you will forever hold dear in your heart.
